The Titleist NXT Tour is a good ball for all aspects of the game for experienced players with fast swings. Its three piece design is created to give advanced players longer driver shots, better short game control, and a soft feel. These perform in a very similar manner to the Titleist Pro V1 with the exception of a softer feel on the green.

A dual core composed of two layers of polybutadiene of differing densities is the engine behind the distance, speed, and control of these balls. A firm inner core of polybutadiene maximizes the distance from driver shots. The outer, softer polybutadiene core increases feel and spin off of irons. Softer than Surlyn, the cover is coated in Fusablend. 392 icosahedral dimples have been patterned in a staggering wave to give the ball more lift and reduce drag. These dimples also create stopping power on the green where the Titleist NXT Tour is very workable. The only downside to the Titleist NXT Tour is that it is not as durable as other balls, but the performance of these balls in all aspects of the game should outweigh their slight durability disadvantage.
